Many workshops are not very keen on working with a tire sealant. Most of them are latex based, which means that a tire becomes hazardous waste after this type of sealant has been used. Moreover, traditional sealants themselves are hazardous material and generally need special treatment in the workshop.
At Automechanika, PANNEX from Lichtenstein won an innovation award for its sealant that is based on specially developed microfiber. The product is easily biodegradable and seals tire damages up to 8 mm. In case the damaged tire is repairable, it can be re-used. Otherwise, it can be recycled regularly. Thus, PANNEX optimizes resource utilization. Additionally, PANNEX is also highly powerful at the same time.
According to PANNEX the product is interesting for both workshops and retailers. Workshops profit from an eco-friendly way of working when fixing tires. There is less hazardous waste to deal with. Retailers can enhance their portfolio with an eco-friendly, yet very powerful, sealant.
