Every mechanic will recognize the situation. When working on a car, one has to switch constantly between the car itself and the monitoring system or a laptop.

Texa, the Italian specialist in auto diagnostics, A/C system maintenance, satellite tracking and training courses for vehicle mechanics, developed a prototype of a special pair of glasses that projects all the information a mechanic needs right in front of his eyes. The product was developed in cooperation with EPSON.

It is still a prototype, meaning it is not commercially available. Still, it promises a lot for the work of the mechanic in a workshop. They will have their hands free when working on a car. Without the necessity of switching between screens and car, one saves time and is less prone to make mistakes.
